I had a lovely stay at River Rock Cottages, particularly enjoying the charming decor and comfortable accommodations. The proximity to downtown Estes Park and RMNP was a huge plus, allowing for great adventures. However, I encountered some issues with temperature control in one of the cottages, which was less than ideal, especially during a cold night.
The cottages were cozy and clean, with appealing furnishings. I found the gas fireplace especially comforting on chilly nights.
The owners were kind and responsive to my inquiries, and I appreciated the surprise of having the patio cleared after fresh snow. It showed great attention to customer service.
I loved the location, being so close to downtown and dining options like Starbucks and Safeway just around the corner. The ease of access to RMNP cannot be overstated.
I enjoyed using the well-equipped kitchen for breakfasts and packing meals for my outings, which added to the convenience of the stay.
While the cottages didnât have air conditioning, the cool breeze during my stay kept everything comfortable. The only downside was the insufficient heating in one of the cottages.

I had a fantastic stay at River Rock Cottages! The Evergreen cottage I stayed in was exceptionally clean and equipped with modern amenities, making my visit relaxing. I loved how close it was to Estes Park's shops and restaurants, which made everything so convenient. The only note I have is that parking could be a bit tricky during busier times, but overall, it was a good experience. đ
The Evergreen cottage was very clean and well-maintained, with updated amenities that made my stay enjoyable.
The owners were present and very helpful, readily available for anything I needed during my stay.
The location is perfect, just a short walk to the main street, which made exploring the area effortless.
I enjoyed the option to eat in if I wanted to, as the cottage had a functional kitchen to prepare meals.
All facilities were excellent, with good Wi-Fi and outside spaces to relax, especially by the firepit.

My recent stay at River Rock Cottages was absolutely good! I loved the amazing views and the cozy atmosphere of my cottage, even with temperatures dipping into the single digits. The location was perfect for exploring downtown, though it was a bit too cold to enjoy some outdoor amenities. Overall, I felt well taken care of, thanks to the attentive service from the owners.
The Bighorn cottage had very nice views with its rows of windows and a cozy, heated sleeping porch that kept me warm despite the winter chill.
Terry and Carolyn were incredibly responsive and attentive, even clearing snow paths to my car each morning!
The proximity to downtown was perfect; I could easily walk to shops and restaurants without any hassle.
While I didn't dine on-site, being close to downtown restaurants made it easy to find great places to eat.
The cottages were clean, well-equipped, and had nice outdoor features like picnic tables, which I hope to use on a future visit.

My stay at River Rock Cottages was truly enjoyable. The location was perfectâjust a short walk to downtown Estes Parkâand the views from my cottage were stunning (especially while I sipped my morning coffee on the porch). However, I did find the summer heat a challenge since there was no A/C, making it a bit uncomfortable during the hot weather.
The Evergreen cottage I stayed in was well appointed with a cozy kitchen and a lovely porch. It had all I needed for my stay, though I wished there was a dresser for unpacking.
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to assist me, even providing an iron when I asked.
The location couldn't be betterâwalking distance to downtown Estes Park and a quick drive to nearby hiking trails. I loved the convenience!
The kitchen was stocked with most of the essentials I needed to cook my meals, which was great after a long day of hiking.
The facilities were well-kept and inviting, with a gas fireplace that kept me warm during the cool nights.

The Bighorn cottage was clean and cozy, featuring a heated sleeping porch that kept me comfortable. The kitchen had all the cookware I needed and even a dishwasher.
Terry and Carolyn were incredibly responsive and offered great local suggestions. Their effort to ensure a high-quality experience was evident.
The cottage's location was perfect. I could easily walk to downtown Estes Park while enjoying lovely views of the Rockies.
I had no trouble finding great places to eat, with Terry's suggestions proving very helpful. Plus, the kitchen allowed me to whip up meals when I wanted.
The amenities were great. The laundry room off the back and the hammock outside made for a relaxing stay.
